This is Keum-Boo (24k gold fused onto Argentium sterling silver (940)).
The magnificence of this ring cannot be described. The hand-textured pure gold atop the Argentium silver square is something only seeing it in person can truly convey. The Argentium silver band is close to 1.50 mm thick. The base of the ring (shaft), 7.25 mm in width, is also hand-textured with hand burnishing around all edges.
To put this ring's size into perspective, the gold square is a little under ½ inch. This ring is hand forged, not cast.
